Duas Quintas Douro White DOC

Duas Quintas is a white wine from the Alto Douro region, originating from Quinta de Ervamoira at an altitude of 150 meters and Quinta de Bons Ares at 600 meters. It is made from traditional grape varieties that showcase the potential of this region. The grapes are hand-harvested, and after direct pressing, a cold maceration phase follows. The must was fermented 90% in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures and 10% in oak barrels. It has a clear and bright pale golden color with greenish reflections. Duas Quintas White boasts an intense and concentrated nose of melon and pear with delicate notes of white roses and the scent of mandarins. On the palate, it is full-bodied with citrus aromas of ripe fruit. The finish is fresh and long with a soft texture. It pairs well with fish dishes such as sea bass "au sel," hake, or monkfish served with homemade mayonnaise.

Ramos Pinto

The Ramos Pinto winery dates back to 1880, when Adriano Ramos Pinto laid the foundation for the wine production that bears his name. The estate developed rapidly and achieved worldwide renown – not least thanks to its membership in the Roederer Group. After business flourished in its home country of Portugal, exports to the Brazilian market began. Today, Frédéric Rouzaud manages the winery, continuing the tradition of five successful generations.
