Duas Quintas Douro White DOC
Duas Quintas is a white wine from the Alto Douro, originating from the Quinta de Ervamoira, located at an altitude of 150 meters, and the Quinta de Bons Ares at 600 m altitude, and is made from traditional grape varieties that demonstrate the potential of this region.
The grapes are hand-picked and, after direct pressing, a phase of cold maceration follows. The must was fermented 90% in stainless steel tanks at low temperature as well as in oak barrels (10%).
Clear and bright pale golden color with greenish reflections. Duas Quintas White possesses an intense and concentrated nose of melon and pears with delicate notes of white roses and the scent of tangerines. Full-bodied with citrus aromas of ripe fruits on the palate. Fresh and long on the finish with a soft texture.
Goes well with fish dishes such as sea bass "au sel", hake, or monkfish served with homemade mayonnaise.

The Quinta
The Ramos Pinto winery dates back to the year 1880. At that time, Adriano Ramos Pinto laid the foundation for the wine production named after him. The estate developed rapidly and achieved great fame worldwide - not least thanks to its membership in the Roederer Group.
After business in the home country of Portugal was running perfectly, they began exporting to the Brazilian market. Today, Frédéric Rouzaud manages the fortunes of the winery and thus continues the tradition of five successful generations.
