The undisputed No. 1 in its home country, Ferreira is still one of the largest port wine exporters today and beyond. More than that, however, counts the reputation of the house of Ferreira as a guarantor for top quality.
This is primarily due to the more than 300 hectares of its own vineyards, which officially count among the cream of the crop of the growing region.
On the slopes falling steeply in terraces to the Douro Valley, the grapes of the traditional Portuguese grape varieties get plenty of sun in the hot, dry summer months and thus develop the power, fullness, and ripeness that characterize the unique character of the port wine.

Fresh and clean
Fresh, floral on the nose. Clean, fruity on the palate, little structure. Overall rather unremarkable.
