Porto White 20Years Old 20% Ramos Pinto 0.75L
Twenty years of maturation leave clear traces in the White Port from Ramos Pinto — and that is exactly what makes it interesting. Where young White Ports remain fresh and fruity, this one develops depth over time: aromas of roasted almonds, dried apricot, orange zest and a hint of caramel characterize the glass.
Ramos Pinto is one of the traditional houses in the Douro Valley, founded in 1880 in Vila Nova de Gaia. The house is known for its work with indigenous grape varieties of the Douro and for a clear stylistic signature: elegance over power, complexity over sweetness. The 20 Years Old White is exemplary of this — luscious, but with a freshness on the finish that makes the glass feel light.
In the mouth, it is full-bodied with a soft texture; the sweetness is balanced by a subtle line of acidity and nutty spice. The finish is long and warm. Serving temperature: 10–12 °C, best in a white Burgundy glass that bundles the aromas. As an aperitif with salted almonds or Manchego, but also at the end of a meal next to crème brûlée or a piece of blue cheese.

The Ramos Pinto winery dates back to 1880, when Adriano Ramos Pinto laid the foundation for the wine production that bears his name. The estate developed rapidly and achieved worldwide renown – not least thanks to its membership in the Roederer Group. After business flourished in its home country of Portugal, exports to the Brazilian market began. Today, Frédéric Rouzaud manages the winery, continuing the tradition of five successful generations.
