The grapes for the Philipp Kuhn Saumagen Riesling dry Grosses Gewächs thrive on a sensational soil, which is determined by massive limestone rock in the subsoil and red Terra Fusca in the topsoil. The sun on the southeast slope of the Palatinate Forest gives the grapes their special ripeness.

The result is a very mineral, powerful Riesling that shows a broad spectrum of fruit aromas. The typical herbal notes of the Saumagen Rieslings also stand out alongside scents of apricots, melon, and mango.

A typical, finely fruity Palatinate Riesling equipped with fine acidity from very late-harvested grapes.
