Hermitage Blanc AC Hermitage 0.75L

Guigal's Hermitage Blanc is one of the great white Rhône wines: dense, structured and with an aging potential that surprises many Burgundy fans.

Domaine E. Guigal is one of the most renowned estates in the northern Rhône Valley. The estate cultivates vineyards on the Hermitage hill near Tain-l'Hermitage—one of France's most historically significant vineyards, whose steep granite and loess terraces offer ideal conditions for the Marsanne grape. Marsanne has been at home here for centuries, producing white wines of exceptional density and longevity.

In the glass, the wine shines a clear straw yellow. The nose reveals white blossoms, acacia honey, and a delicate vegetal undertone—typical of ripe Marsanne from granite soils. On the palate, it is dry and full-bodied, with an oily texture and a long, slightly mineral finish. Young vintages can sometimes seem closed; after five to ten years of cellaring, the depth of this grape variety truly unfolds.

Serving temperature 13–15 °C . Pairs well with lobster bisque, grilled turbot with herb butter or a robust Poulet de Bresse — also a good choice with mature Comté cheese.

E. Guigal

Maison Guigal – one of the most renowned addresses in the Rhône Valley. Founded in 1946 by Étienne Guigal, in family hands for three generations. From Ampuis, in the heart of the Côte-Rôtie, Guigal focuses on precision and craftsmanship.

The crowning glory: the three legendary single-vineyard wines La Landonne, La Mouline, and La Turque – world-class Syrah wines. Each parcel vinified individually, partly aged in new barriques.

But Guigal is more: Hermitage, Condrieu, Saint-Joseph, Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Everywhere palpable: love for detail and terroir.
