E. Guigal Chateauneuf-du-Pape
The Châteauneuf-du-Pape vinified by E. Guigal grows on vines averaging over 50 years old, planted in pebbly soils interspersed with clay. The finished wine is a deep red color, and its bouquet hints at red berries and spices, along with a touch of jam. On the palate, it impresses with its beautiful complexity, rounded tannins, and power. A full, creamy wine offering notes of red fruits, plums, and stone fruits. Overall, it is a harmonious and rich wine. It matures for 36 months in oak barrels. 91-93 Parker points for the 2015 vintage.

Maison Guigal – one of the most prestigious wineries in the Rhône Valley. Founded in 1946 by Étienne Guigal, it has been family-owned for three generations. From Ampuis, in the heart of the Côte-Rôtie, Guigal focuses on precision and craftsmanship. The crowning achievement: the three legendary single-vineyard wines La Landonne, La Mouline, and La Turque – world-class Syrah wines. Each parcel is vinified individually, some aged in new barriques. But Guigal is more than that: Hermitage, Condrieu, Saint-Joseph, Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Everywhere you look, you'll find a passion for detail and for the terroir.
