Gigondas AC Gigondas 0.75L
Gigondas is located in the heart of the southern Rhône, nestled between the Dentelles de Montmirail and the Massif des Cèdres — an appellation that often stands in the shadow of the famous Châteauneuf-du-Pape, but offers comparable power and depth. E. Guigal, the traditional house from Ampuis on the Rhône, brings its expertise from the north to the south here: precise vinification, high standards for raw material quality.
The wine is based on Grenache, which unfolds its typical strength on the calcareous soils and scree terraces around Gigondas: rich blackberry, dried fig, a hint of garrigue and lavender. The body is full-bodied, the tannins ripe and round, the finish long with a warm, spicy note.
Best served at 16–18 °C — with braised lamb with herbs of Provence, a daube de bœuf, or strong mountain cheese from the Vaucluse. A red wine for evenings when things can be quiet but substantial.

Maison Guigal – one of the most prestigious wineries in the Rhône Valley. Founded in 1946 by Étienne Guigal, it has been family-owned for three generations. From Ampuis, in the heart of the Côte-Rôtie, Guigal focuses on precision and craftsmanship. The crowning achievement: the three legendary single-vineyard wines La Landonne, La Mouline, and La Turque – world-class Syrah wines. Each parcel is vinified individually, some aged in new barriques. But Guigal is more than that: Hermitage, Condrieu, Saint-Joseph, Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Everywhere you look, you'll find a passion for detail and for the terroir.
