Hammel & Cie Pink Hallelujah Rosé

Three Burgundy varieties in one rosé: The Pink Hallelujah from Hammel & Cie combines Frühburgunder, Saint Laurent and Spätburgunder into a light, aromatic cuvée from the Palatinate.

The Hammel & Cie winery is one of the established producers in the Palatinate region and works with classic grape varieties. The Pink Hallelujah is fermented and aged exclusively in stainless steel tanks—a deliberate choice to keep the fruit fresh and pure.

In the glass, the wine shines a bright salmon pink. The nose reveals red berries—strawberry, raspberry—with a hint of rose petals, typical of the Frühburgunder component. On the palate, it is light-bodied with lively acidity, uncomplicated and easy to drink, with a short, fresh finish.

Serve well chilled at 7–9 °C . Pairs well with prawns with aioli, grilled sea bass, vitello tonnato, or a summery goat cheese salad. Also a good choice as a simple aperitif.

Hammel & Cie Winery

Since 1723, the Hammel & Cie winery in Kirchheim an der Weinstraße has been one of the most trusted names in the Palatinate region – today, Christoph Hammel runs the estate in the ninth generation. On 42 hectares surrounding the historic village center of Kirchheim, Riesling, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, and now also Grüner Veltliner grapes thrive in one of Germany's mildest climate regions. In the vineyard, the Hammel family adheres to time-honored traditions, while in the cellar, they focus on the judicious use of steel and oak. The result is wines with a distinct character, aromatic fruit, and a guiding principle that the family themselves describe as: bringing joy.
