Wiesbaden Neroberg Riesling Crescentia VDP first location
The Wiesbadener Neroberg Riesling “Crescentia” from Kloster Eberbach is one of the benchmark wines of the Neroberg vineyard in Wiesbaden. The parcel is located in the Rheingau region, covers almost 4 hectares, and is characterized by its volcanic weathered rock, loess, and stony soils – a terroir that lends the Riesling elegance, depth, and clear minerality.
The wine displays a bright, delicate yellow color in the glass, accompanied by subtle floral, stone, and herbal notes, along with delicate yellow fruits such as pear and peach. On the palate, it is dense, clearly structured, and dry, with vibrant acidity, a rich, creamy texture, and a long, exceptionally clean finish.
As a VDP.ERSTE LAGE®, this Riesling is a wine for moments of enjoyment with a little time: a clear, modern classic that blends harmoniously with fish, asparagus or fine Asian dishes, both young and with some maturity.
