Speciality Cream East India 0.5L

Dark, dense, and multi-layered: The Speciality Cream East India from Emilio Lustau sees itself as a homage to the sea voyage and is one of the sweet sherries with depth.

Lustau bottles sherry from Andalusia; the bodegas are located in Jerez de la Frontera. For this cream, Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez components mature for around 12 years in soleras. Afterward, they are blended and aged for another 3 years. Palomino Fino is stated as the grape variety; the PX component provides the sweetness.

In the glass, dried dates and candied orange appear, plus toffee and sweet spices. The sweetness is dense and lush, the spice holds its own against it and gives the sherry complexity.

Serve it at 10 to 12 °C, neat as a digestif or with dessert. It pairs well with walnut cake, crème brûlée, and strong blue cheese. It also works well over vanilla ice cream.

Emilio Lustau

Emilio Lustau is one of the most renowned sherry bodegas in Spain – and a real insider tip for anyone who really wants to understand fortified wines.

In sun-drenched Jerez de la Frontera, where 300 days of sunshine a year set the rhythm, sherries of impressive depth are produced: nutty Amontillados, velvety Pedro Ximénez, and the salty, vibrant Manzanilla Papirusa – matured under the cool sea breeze of the Guadalquivir. Each glass tells a story of time, craftsmanship, and a distinctive terroir.

Prepare to be surprised – Lustau will show you how versatile and fascinating sherry can truly be.
