Solera Familiar Medium Dry Amontillado Los Arcos

Solera Familiar Medium Dry Amontillado Los Arcos
The Los Arcos Amontillado from Bodegas Williams & Humbert represents the classic Solera style of the Jerez region: a sherry that first matures under the biological veil of yeast (flor) and is then aged oxidatively — the result is a wine with double depth.
In the glass, it displays the typical amber color of Amontillado. The nose offers aromas of roasted hazelnut, dried apricot, and a hint of walnut oil, underpinned by subtle oak spice. On the palate, it presents medium sweetness, firm acidity, and a long, dry finish. The term "Medium Dry" here signifies not heaviness, but rather balance.
Enjoy it on its own at 12–14 °C, with Manchego cheese, Jamón Ibérico or robust pâtés. It is also a convincing accompaniment to pumpkin soup or caramelized onions.

Emilio Lustau is one of the most renowned sherry bodegas in Spain – and a real insider tip for anyone who really wants to understand fortified wines.
In sun-drenched Jerez de la Frontera, where 300 days of sunshine a year set the rhythm, sherries of impressive depth are produced: nutty Amontillados, velvety Pedro Ximénez, and the salty, vibrant Manzanilla Papirusa – matured under the cool sea breeze of the Guadalquivir. Each glass tells a story of time, craftsmanship, and a distinctive terroir.
Prepare to be surprised – Lustau will show you how versatile and fascinating sherry can truly be.
