Perrin et Fils Vacqueyras Les Christins AOC

Since 1909, the year the Perrin family bought the Beaucastel winery, their endeavor to produce great wines has been consolidated with every year and has since been further developed in the 4th and 5th generation.

The philosophy and conviction of the Perrin family state that the vines for the production of a great wine should grow as naturally as possible in order to express the unique terroir. Since 1964, no chemical fertilizers and pesticides have been used.

Over the course of the years, the vines have developed their own natural resistance against "attacks".

Experience has also shown that the wines become all the greater if they originate from the blend of several grape varieties. Therefore, a total of 13 grape varieties are grown at Beaucastel.

The grape varieties for the Vacqueyras Les Christins come from the 8 hectares with 50-year-old vines that lie above the municipality of Sarrians in the south of the foothills of the Montmiral. The soils consist of stony and sandy clay. Maturation takes place in vats and barrels, approximately 50% each.

Color: rich red tending towards amber; Nose: black cherry, licorice, and floral;

Palate: rich and concentrated structure with a round finish
