Perrin et Fils Cotes du Rhone Villages AOC
Since 1909, the year the Perrin family purchased the Beaucastel estate, their pursuit of producing great wines has grown stronger each year and has been further developed by the fourth and fifth generations. This dark purple Côtes du Rhône blend opens with a soft bouquet of blueberries and blackberries. On the palate, it reveals a balanced, medium body with aromas of cassis and a hint of black olives and figs, leading to a soft and full-bodied finish. This slightly opaque, dark purple Rhône blend opens with a mild blueberry and boysenberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium-bodied, balanced, smooth, and very easy to drink. The flavor profile is mild blackcurrant with notes of mineral and old oak. There was also a hint of black olive and a touch of fig mixed in as well. The finish is dry, and its very mild tannins make it quite food-friendly. This wine would go well with an Angus bacon burger with mushrooms and Swiss. Enjoy! - Ken

Perrin et Fils – a family-owned French winery, founded in 1909. With 110 hectares, it is one of the most impressive in the country. The soils of sand, limestone, clay, and red loam form the basis for Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault, and many more. The Perrin family's philosophy: vines should grow as naturally as possible to express the terroir. Since 1964, no chemical fertilizers or pesticides have been used. The vines have developed their own resilience. Up to 97 Parker points prove: this approach is working. Thirteen grape varieties grow at Beaucastel – the blending of which produces great wines.
