Perrin et Fils Vinsobres Les Cornuds

The grapes for Vinsobres Les Cornuds come from 45 hectares located in the north of the appellation at an average altitude of 300 meters. The soils consist of stony and sandy marl. Aging takes place in stainless steel vats, in barrels that previously held two wines (mainly Syrah), and for six months in the bottle. Vinsobres Les Cornuds is a wonderful Villages wine, and the 2013 vintage was a great success. A complex aroma of fresh blackberries, spring flowers, peach pit, and notes of white pepper is complemented by a fine elegance with silky tannins and refreshing acidity. Enjoy within 5-7 years. Wine Advocate 2020: 90-92 points for the 2017 vintage; Weinwirtschaft 2020: Ranked #1 worldwide for best value red wine; Wine Spectator 2021: 91 points for the 2018 vintage

Perrin et Fils

Perrin et Fils – a French family-owned winery, founded in 1909. With 110 hectares, it is one of the most impressive in the country. The soils of sand, limestone, clay and red loam form the basis for Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault and many more. The philosophy of the Perrin family: vines should grow as naturally as possible to express the terroir. Since the 1950s, no chemical fertilizers or pesticides have been used. The vines have developed their own resistance. 13 grape varieties grow at Beaucastel – the blend creates great wines.
