La Vieille Ferme Rose

From the Luberon nature reserve comes this powerfully fruity blend of Syrah and Grenache. A fantastic food wine with plenty of dark berry fruit and a refreshing character. The Perrin family at Château de Beaucastel, one of the region's best producers, places great emphasis on organic farming and typicity in their wines. A southern French wine that pairs well with all kinds of flavorful meat and vegetable dishes, and at a surprisingly affordable price. No wonder Wine Spectator repeatedly includes it in its Best Buy list. The 2020 vintage is the driest in terms of rainfall in the last 30 years, with firm, crisp acidity, spicy berry aromas, playfully elegant on the palate, and a beautifully clean finish. Perrin et Fils

Perrin et Fils – a French family-owned winery, founded in 1909. With 110 hectares, it is one of the most impressive in the country. The soils of sand, limestone, clay and red loam form the basis for Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault and many more. The philosophy of the Perrin family: vines should grow as naturally as possible to express the terroir. Since the 1950s, no chemical fertilizers or pesticides have been used. The vines have developed their own resistance. 13 grape varieties grow at Beaucastel – the blend creates great wines.
