Lungarotti Brut Millesimato Spum. Metodo Classico Umbria 0.75L

Lungarotti Brut Millesimato Spum. Metodo Classico Umbria 0.75L
A vintage spumante from Torgiano that shows that Umbria has more to offer than still wines: The Lungarotti Brut Millesimato is created using the classic bottle fermentation method from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and matures for around 30 months on the lees.
The Lungarotti winery is the defining force of the DOC Torgiano — Giorgio Lungarotti helped build the appellation from the 1960s onwards, and today the family runs the winery in the second generation. In addition to the well-known red wines made from Sangiovese, this house proves with the Millesimato that the hilly sites of Umbria are also suitable for sparkling wines.
In the glass, a fine, persistent perlage appears. The nose brings brioche, green apple, and a hint of white blossoms. On the palate, it is lively, with a clear acidity structure, a hint of citrus zest, and a dry, mineral-influenced finish. Serving temperature: 7–9 °C.
As an aperitif, with risotto with seafood, grilled sea bass, or a mild goat cheese from the region.

Lungarotti – your gateway to the soul of Umbria. In the 1960s, Giorgio Lungarotti revolutionized the Umbrian wine world, making Torgiano the region's first quality appellation. Today, his daughters Chiara and Teresa carry on the legacy with passion and vision. What makes Lungarotti so special? Wine and culture are inextricably linked here: a wine museum, a luxury hotel, and sustainable projects. On over 300 hectares, they produce wines that reflect the terroir of Umbria. The legendary Rubesco Vigna Monticchio – a single-varietal Sangiovese. With San Giorgio, they created the first "Superumbrian" in 1977. And they were the first winery in Umbria to receive the VIVA sustainability certification. Umbria, as it tastes.
