Brezza Bianco dell'Umbria

Brezza Bianco dell'Umbria
A fresh, everyday white wine from Umbria that impresses with its uncomplicated aromas and lively acidity – ideal for hot summer evenings or as an uncomplicated companion during the week.
Lungarotti is Umbria's most famous winery and has been instrumental in shaping the region's reputation since the 1960s. Giorgio Lungarotti laid the foundation, and today the family runs the winery in Torgiano – with approximately 230 hectares of vineyards, it is one of the largest privately owned wineries in Central Italy. The Brezza is an uncomplicated entry into the Lungarotti range, but vinified with the family's typical high standards.
This blend of Pinot Grigio, Grechetto, and Chardonnay displays aromas of pineapple, green apple, and citrus peel in the glass. The local Grechetto variety contributes a nutty, slightly bitter note on the finish, making the wine more interesting than its uncomplicated presentation might suggest. Light on the palate, with fresh, juicy acidity and a short, clean finish.

Lungarotti – your gateway to the soul of Umbria. In the 1960s, Giorgio Lungarotti revolutionized the Umbrian wine world, making Torgiano the region's first quality appellation. Today, his daughters Chiara and Teresa carry on the legacy with passion and vision. What makes Lungarotti so special? Wine and culture are inextricably linked here: a wine museum, a luxury hotel, and sustainable projects. On over 300 hectares, they produce wines that reflect the terroir of Umbria. The legendary Rubesco Vigna Monticchio – a single-varietal Sangiovese. With San Giorgio, they created the first "Superumbrian" in 1977. And they were the first winery in Umbria to receive the VIVA sustainability certification. Umbria, as it tastes.
