Kloster Eberbach is one of the oldest and most famous wine estates in Germany. The Cistercian monastery in the Rheingau, founded in the 12th century, is considered the cradle of German quality viticulture. The vineyards around Hattenheim and the Steinberg define a Riesling style that stands for freshness, mineral tension, and finesse.

On the nose, this Kabinett appears cool and clear: herbal spice, orangeade, and a hint of kumquat. On the palate, juicy liveliness follows — mirabelle plum, apple, and a delicate fruit sweetness that never feels heavy. The body is firmer than expected, with power and backbone. Towards the finish, minerality builds up, a light salty pressure on the palate, a long finale with citrus fruit and a compact, stony note in the aftertaste.
