Il Bruciato Bolgheri DOC Magnum

Il Bruciato Bolgheri DOC Magnum
Il Bruciato is the entry point into the world of Guado al Tasso — and it clearly demonstrates why Bolgheri is considered one of Italy's most exciting red wine producers. In the magnum bottle, it matures more evenly and develops greater depth than in the 0.75-liter version.
Guado al Tasso belongs to the Antinori family, who have been cultivating wine for over 600 years. The estate lies in the heart of the Bolgheri DOC, directly behind Bolgheri's famous cypress avenue. The climate—Mediterranean, with sea breezes from the Tyrrhenian Sea—and the iron-rich soil give the wines their typical structure and freshness.
This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah displays aromas of blackberry and red cherry on the nose, underpinned by vanilla and a hint of clove. On the palate, it is juicy and medium-bodied, with soft tannins and a pleasant spiciness on the finish. Not a heavyweight—a wine that brings pleasure without being demanding.
