Il Bruciato Bolgheri DOC

Il Bruciato Bolgheri DOC
Il Bruciato is the entry point into Guado al Tasso's Bolgheri universe – accessible, but not arbitrary: a cuvée with a true coastal character and a clear personality.
Guado al Tasso belongs to the Antinori family and is located in the heart of the Bolgheri DOC, a few kilometers from the Tyrrhenian coast. The Mediterranean climate, sandy soils, and coastal breezes shape the style of the wines: ripe fruit, Mediterranean spice, and freshness. Il Bruciato is a classic Bolgheri blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah – the typical grape combination of the region.
Intense ruby red in the glass. The nose offers ripe blackberry, rose petal, and a hint of licorice. On the palate, it displays medium body, soft, well-integrated tannins, and a fresh acidity that keeps it lively despite its ripeness. The finish offers hints of mint and dark chocolate – not long, but clean and pleasantly precise.
Served at 16–18 °C, it pairs well with grilled lamb loin , pasta with ragù, or a stagionato pecorino. It's also a great, uncomplicated companion to an after-work glass – not a wine for the cellar, but ready to drink and reliable.

Super Tuscans – a style that changed the wine world. What began with Mario Incisa della Rocchetta's private Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard was perfected by his nephew Piero Antinori and oenologist Giacomo Tachis: the world-famous Sassicaia. Tignanello followed shortly after – Sangiovese without any white wine component. Because the laws only permitted it as "table wine," prices skyrocketed. Today, Sassicaia, Tignanello, Masseto, and Ornellaia are considered icons. What they have in common: structure, body, and a boldness of innovation.
