Caldora Montepulciano d'Abruzzo

The Caldora Montepulciano d'Abruzzo from the renowned Fantini Group embodies the best of Abruzzo: a powerful, characterful red wine that impresses with honest substance – and far beyond its price range.

In the glass, it shines a deep, rich ruby red. The nose reveals an inviting bouquet of sour cherry, ripe plum, and subtle herbal notes – typical of Montepulciano at its finest. This character continues on the palate: fruity and full-bodied, with a delicate hint of vanilla, firmly integrated tannins, and lively, well-balanced acidity. The finish is long and warm – the potential for more than just an ordinary everyday wine. It's no coincidence that the 2020 vintage was awarded the coveted Mundus Vini Gold Medal .

It develops its full potential at 16–18 °C – ideally paired with a hearty ragù, grilled lamb, or a tangy pecorino cheese. Equally appealing: simply pour it and enjoy the evening, without any special occasion.

Fantini Group Vini Srl

Fantini Vini is a wine group in southern Italy, founded in 1994 in the Abruzzo region by three visionary friends, Filippo, Valentino, and Camillo, under the name Farnese. They were also known as the Three Dreamers because they succeeded in realizing an impossible dream: to create something that would become the pride of southern Italy. Despite having neither money nor their own vineyards, they developed a highly innovative business model that, after 30 years, boasts more than 100 successful wines from southern Italy.
