A full-bodied southern Italian wine made from two classic Apulian grape varieties – approachable in style, with real substance behind it.

The Fantini Group from Abruzzo is among the most productive and reliable wineries in southern Italy. For their Vanita line, they blend Primitivo and Nero di Troia from Apulia – both grape varieties known for their color, richness, and spicy character. Around a third of the wine matures for four months in oak barrels, which gives the cuvée structure and a subtle oak note without overpowering the fruit.

In the glass, it displays a deep ruby ​​red color. The nose offers dark blackberry and plum, along with vanilla and a hint of dried herbs. On the palate, it is soft and rounded, with fine tannins and a balsamic finish typical of Primitivo blends of this type.

Serving suggestion: Best served at 14–16 °C . Pairs well with pasta with meat ragù, grilled sausages, pecorino cheese, or pizza with robust toppings. The 3-liter bag-in-box format keeps it fresh for four to six weeks after opening – perfect for everyday use or your next get-together in the garden.
