Calafuria Rosé Negroamaro Salento

The Calafuria Rosé from Tormaresca is a rosé that showcases what southern Italy is truly capable of – if someone knows how to listen. Made from the Negroamaro grape, one of Puglia's most distinctive varieties, this wine makes no pretense and is precisely for that reason so convincing.

On the nose, it opens with aromas of white peach, rose, and a hint of citrus blossom – restrained yet distinct. The palate follows this pattern: fresh, vibrant, with a delicate spiciness on the finish, typical of Negroamaro from Salento. The grapes are harvested and vinified gently to fully preserve the aromatic potential of this special grape variety.

Drink it well chilled – as an accompaniment to grilled fish, light pasta dishes, or a leisurely evening on the terrace . A wine for people who see rosé not as a compromise, but as a wine with its own distinct character.

Tormaresca

Founded in 1998 by the Antinori family, the Tormaresca winery is located in the Italian region of Apulia, near the town of San Pietro Vernotico. Tormaresca boasts two vineyards (Tenuta Bocca di Lupo and Masseria Maime), encompassing a total area of 348 hectares. The region is characterized by abundant sunshine and significant temperature variations between day and night. In addition to the vineyards, the estate also owns olive groves and grain fields. The vineyards are characterized by tuff soils, on which red and white grape varieties are cultivated, including Negroamaro, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Anglianico. Three million bottles of wine are produced here annually.
