Calafuria Rosé Negroamaro Salento IGT Magnum

The Calafuria Rosé Negroamaro Salento IGT from Tormaresca is no ordinary rosé wine – and in the magnum bottle (1.5 l) it truly makes an impression. Anyone who loves an expressive, southern Italian rosé and enjoys sharing it with friends and family will find this a bottle that will make a lasting impression both at the table and as a gift.

The grapes of the indigenous Negroamaro grape variety come from the sun-drenched Salento region in Apulia. Tormaresca – the Antinori family winery in southern Italy – relies on gentle hand-harvesting and controlled fermentation at low temperatures to preserve the full aromatic potential of this special variety without sacrificing its characteristic freshness.

In the glass, it displays a bright salmon pink color. The bouquet is inviting and complex:

  • Lychee and ripe peach
  • Delicate rose blossom
  • An invigorating, mineral freshness in the finish.

On the palate it is gentle, delicate and balanced – with enough structure to stand up to food.

The magnum bottle is perfect for summer al fresco dining, Mediterranean-style meals, or as a special gift for wine lovers who appreciate something special. It pairs wonderfully with grilled fish and seafood, light pasta dishes, and fresh antipasti.
