Jerez
Jerez is the home of Sherry – one of the oldest and most fascinating wine styles in the world. In the Andalusian heat, the wines mature in Solera casks into something unique: dry and nutty Finos , deep Olorosos , or velvety Cream styles that hardly any other wine region masters so well.
Our selection shows you just how diverse Jerez truly is – far beyond old clichés. Nine carefully chosen sherries, priced between €10.70 and €16.90, are waiting to be discovered. Perfect as an aperitif, with a meal, or simply enjoyed on its own.

Sherry from Jerez – the liquid gold of Andalusia
Sherry is one of the most fascinating wines in the world – and at the same time one of the most underrated. Yet behind every glass lies centuries-old craftsmanship from Jerez de la Frontera in southern Spain. The special Solera process, in which younger wines are gradually blended with older ones, gives Sherry its unmistakable character: complex, multi-layered, and with a depth that hardly any other wine achieves.
From bone-dry to velvety-sweet
The variety of styles is impressive. A Fino like the classic Tio Pepe from González Byass arrives in the glass cool and bone-dry – fresh, light, ideal as an aperitif. The Amontillado goes a step further: nutty, dry finish, more depth. The Oloroso matures without a layer of yeast, developing a dark, spicy richness. And then there is the Pedro Ximénez – dark as espresso, sweet as dried figs, a dessert in a glass.
