Is the wine dry?

Yes, it is vinified dry. The fruit richness of the Primitivo can make it seem softer than some other red wines, but residual sugar plays no role here — the volume comes from the grape variety and the wood aging.

What does the Zolla Primitivo pair best with?

Classically with Apulian cuisine: creamy pasta, braised beef, game dishes, or lamb. Also strong enough for hearty sausage and cheese platters — a piece of aged Parmesan works well.

At what temperature should I serve it?

Vigneti del Salento is an Italian winery located in the Apulia region. The prevailing climate facilitates the development of the grapes through temperature fluctuations between day and night and the proximity to the sea.

In addition, the grapes partially dry out due to the intense heat, which increases their sugar content. All grapes are harvested by hand and processed into wines under the supervision of the employed winemakers. Grape varieties such as Negroamaro, Montepulciano, Primitivo, and Merlot are grown at Vigneti del Salento.
