Wachtenburger Müller-Thurgau semi-dry 1.0L

The Wachtenburger Müller-Thurgau semi-dry from the Wachtenburg winegrowers is an uncomplicated, inviting white wine whose friendly character instantly lifts your spirits. The convenient 1.0-liter bottle makes it the ideal choice when you want to pour a little more—whether for a relaxed evening with friends, a garden party, or simply when half a bottle isn't enough.

In the glass, Müller-Thurgau reveals its most approachable side: fresh, floral aromas , a hint of nutmeg, and a pleasantly light body, gently rounded by the harmoniously integrated residual sweetness . Neither too sweet nor too tart—this balance is precisely where the charm of the off-dry style lies.

It's at its best when served well chilled—around 8 to 10 degrees Celsius . It pairs effortlessly with light summer dishes, Asian-inspired meals, white cheeses, or a simple baguette with herbed cream cheese, just as it does with a relaxed afternoon on the terrace without any plates. A wine that doesn't need a special occasion.

Wachtenburg Winzer

The Wachtenburg Winzer eG cooperative from Wachenheim on the German Wine Route is one of the oldest winegrowers' cooperatives in the Palatinate region: founded in 1900 by 53 Palatinate winegrowers, it now represents the shared craft of 24 winegrowing families who cultivate 350 hectares together. It takes its name from the striking Wachtenburg castle ruins high above Wachenheim—a landmark that is literally reflected in the wines of this cooperative. The focus is on Riesling, but the range extends to over 13 white and 11 red grape varieties, catering to a wide variety of tastes. High-quality wine enjoyment at fair prices and careful stewardship of the vineyards—this is the shared philosophy that unites all these winegrowing families.
