Wachenheimer Riesling dry

Wachenheimer Riesling dry
The Wachenheimer Riesling trocken from the Wachtenburg winegrowers is an uncomplicated, easy-drinking Palatinate Riesling – just the thing if you are looking for an everyday white wine that doesn't need many words but reliably convinces.
On the nose, it displays candied citrus fruits, a hint of stone fruit, and a light herbal spice – fresh and inviting. On the palate, it presents itself with soft, slightly sweet fruit, restrained acidity, and a pleasant vegetal note. It is not complex, but that is precisely what makes it so appealing: easy-drinking, balanced, with a decent finish – a wine that simply brings joy.
Enjoy it well chilled with light summer dishes, salads, tarte flambée, or a relaxed evening on the patio . It also pairs beautifully with white asparagus, mild goat cheese, or Asian-inspired dishes with fresh herbs. A reliable companion for anyone who enjoys Riesling but prefers a less acidic wine.

The Wachtenburg Winzer eG cooperative from Wachenheim on the German Wine Route is one of the oldest winegrowers' cooperatives in the Palatinate region: founded in 1900 by 53 Palatinate winegrowers, it now represents the shared craft of 24 winegrowing families who cultivate 350 hectares together. It takes its name from the striking Wachtenburg castle ruins high above Wachenheim—a landmark that is literally reflected in the wines of this cooperative. The focus is on Riesling, but the range extends to over 13 white and 11 red grape varieties, catering to a wide variety of tastes. High-quality wine enjoyment at fair prices and careful stewardship of the vineyards—this is the shared philosophy that unites all these winegrowing families.
