Wachtenburg Weißburgunder Fels dry 1.0L

Wachtenburger Weißburgunder Pfalz dry – 1.0 liter

A Pinot Blanc that needs no grand pronouncements – yet has a lot to tell. The Wachtenburg winemakers from the Palatinate have been cultivating their wines for over 100 years with the ambition to coax the very best from their soils. They achieve this here in a bottle that impresses with its size as well: a liter of the finest Palatinate wine, perfect for convivial gatherings or relaxed evenings where the bottle can last a little longer.

In the glass, this is an elegant, clearly structured Pinot Blanc with fresh aromas of apple and citrus fruit , pleasantly mild acidity, and a dry, cleanly finished wine. No heavy notes, no jarring acidity – but precisely what defines this grape variety: clarity, freshness, and drinkability .

  • Grape variety: Pinot Blanc
  • Growing region: Palatinate
  • Construction: dry
  • Contents: 1.0 liter

Ideal with asparagus, grilled fish, poultry, or creamy pasta dishes – but it also pairs well with more substantial cuisine. If you're looking for a reliable everyday wine that doesn't taste like everyday wine, this is the one for you.

Wachtenburg Winegrowers

The Wachtenburg Winzer eG cooperative from Wachenheim on the German Wine Route is one of the oldest winegrowers' cooperatives in the Palatinate region: founded in 1900 by 53 Palatinate winegrowers, it now represents the shared craft of 24 winegrowing families who cultivate 350 hectares together. It takes its name from the striking Wachtenburg castle ruins high above Wachenheim—a landmark that is literally reflected in the wines of this cooperative. The focus is on Riesling, but the range extends to over 13 white and 11 red grape varieties, catering to a wide variety of tastes. High-quality wine enjoyment at fair prices and careful stewardship of the vineyards—this is the shared philosophy that unites all these winegrowing families.
