Vette di San Leonardo IGT Trentino

Vette di San Leonardo IGT Trentino
A Sauvignon Blanc from Trentino that shows what the Alps can do with this grape variety: not opulence, but precision.
San Leonardo is located in Valdadige, one of Italy's northernmost wine-growing regions. The Marchesi Guerrieri Gonzaga estate is primarily known for its Bordeaux-style red wine – but the cool, high-altitude slopes of Trentino also provide the basis for this single-vineyard white wine. The Vette di San Leonardo grapes grow at altitudes that ensure natural acidity and freshness.
In the glass, the wine displays aromas of white peach, sage, and green pepper – the typical herbal spiciness of Sauvignon Blanc, framed here by a cool, alpine character. On the palate, it is dry and refined, with lively acidity and a medium to full body. The finish remains mineral and tart.
