The Dal Cero family cultivates their sites on the calcareous-clay soils that are characteristic of the area south of Sirmione. Here, the indigenous Turbiana grape variety, which is genetically closely related to Trebbiano di Soave, grows, but builds up a completely unique, deeper structure in the glass. It draws a cool tension from the mineral-rich subsoil and benefits enormously from the thermal balancing effect of Lake Garda. In the glass, the I Frati shows clear notes of white blossoms and ripe apricot, underpinned by a fine, almost cool balsamic tone and a subtle almond nuance in the background. On the palate, a lively but never sharp acidity carries the wine precisely into the finish. The texture is full-bodied, yet remains completely without heaviness.
