Solera Familiar Rare Amontillado Escuadrilla

Solera Familiar Rare Amontillado Escuadrilla
An Amontillado from the Solera Familiar Escuadrilla – this means: first, years under the protective flor veil as Fino, then controlled oxidation in old Solera casks. The result after 12 years of aging is a dry sherry with a warm amber color and a complexity rarely found.
On the nose, roasted walnut, dried apricot, and a hint of orange peel. On the palate, dry, with spicy depth, a slight salinity, and a long, nutty-bitter finish. Oxidation is present but never intrusive.
Neat at 12–14 °C – as an aperitif or with Jamón Ibérico, mature hard cheeses like Manchego, or robust tapas. Also a classic combination with consommé or grilled seafood.
