Schäfer-Fröhlich Fröhlich

Discover the Schäfer-Fröhlich Fröhlich, a wine that not only indulges your palate but also touches your senses. Imagine how every sip of this Riesling takes you on a journey of taste. The 50-year-old vines on the plateau in the Stromberg, with their low yields and volcanic porphyry soils, produce a rarity that stands out from other wines.

What makes this wine so special? The high extract values give it a luscious fullness and creaminess. Fine notes of apple, ripe lemon, and white peach mingle with earthy and stony nuances on the nose. On the palate, a wonderful tension unfolds with plenty of white fruit, complemented by slightly greenish-herbal reflections. The focus here is on green pear and red apple.

Enjoy this wine with light dishes, such as a snack, appetizers, trout, light meat, or soft cheese. The winery is known for its charming and mature wines.

Schäfer-Fröhlich

The Schäfer-Fröhlich winery has its origins in the picturesque Nahe valley in Germany and can look back on a long family tradition in viticulture. Since 1800, the Schäfer family has dedicated itself to the cultivation of grapevines and the production of high-quality wines.

Today, the winery is managed by Tim Fröhlich, who combines the tradition of his ancestors with modern viticulture techniques. The winery extends over the hills of the Nahe valley and benefits from the unique climatic and geological conditions of the region.

The vineyards are mainly planted with Riesling and Burgundy grape varieties, which find ideal conditions here to produce wines of exceptional quality. The range of the Schäfer-Fröhlich winery includes an impressive selection of wines that reflect the diversity and quality of the Nahe region.

Particularly noteworthy are the Rieslings, which are the trademark of the winery and are known for their elegance, freshness, and longevity. In addition, the winery also produces excellent Burgundy wines as well as other varieties that perfectly express the terroir and the skill of the winemaker. At Schäfer-Fröhlich, quality is the top priority. The winery relies on careful manual labor in the vineyard and gentle processing of the grapes in the cellar to unfold the full potential of the wines. Winemaking is carried out taking into account traditional methods and state-of-the-art viticulture techniques to create wines of the highest quality and authenticity.
