Roederer Cristal Rosé Brut

Cristal Rosé 2013 from Louis Roederer: one of the world's most iconic prestige champagnes, here in its rarest expression. The delicate pink hue in the glass comes from the blend with red wine from the estate's own Pinot Noir parcel, Joly. Fine red fruit – raspberry, black plum – meets saline minerality and a firm acidity that characterizes the 2013 vintage.

With a dosage of 7 g/l, this rosé is significantly below the Champagne average. The result: lively vibrancy instead of sweetness, and a long, dry finish. Drinking window until 2027, ideally served at 9–10 °C.

As an aperitif, with lobster with butter sauce, wild salmon or strawberry tart with little sugar.

Champagne Louis Roederer

Since its founding in Reims in 1776, the Louis Roederer estate has remained in the same family. Today, it is one of the most important independent family-owned wineries in Champagne. Frederic Rouzard, a direct descendant of Louis Roederer, is the current Director General. His goal is to create the Champagne of tomorrow, ensuring that Louis Roederer will still be a benchmark in 20 years' time. The vineyards cover a total area of 240 hectares, exclusively in Grand Cru and Premier Cru sites along the Marne River. Since 2001, the majority of the estate has been undergoing a gradual conversion to biodynamic farming, which is scheduled for completion in 2020.
