Roederer Brut Rosé Vintage Deluxe GP

The Roederer Brut Rosé 2017 vintage appears in a bright pink with slight copper-colored reflections and a fine, homogeneous perlage. A rosé champagne that brings together fruit and salty tension.

Champagne Louis Roederer is one of the well-known houses of Champagne. This Brut Rosé is a vintage champagne, the grape variety according to the data sheet: Chardonnay. We have no further information on aging and dosage.

Strawberry, raspberry, and blood orange start on the nose, along with powdery hints of flower petals and macarons with rose cream. With air, iodine and chocolate nuances as well as a resinous spice reminiscent of cedar are added. It feels velvety and elegant on the palate, the fruity center has an almost liqueur-like impression, carried by iodine tension. In the finale, chocolate and chalky freshness combine into a long, pure, saline finish.

Serve it at 8 °C. It pairs well as an aperitif, with tuna tartare or salmon, and as an accompaniment to strawberry desserts.

The Champagne House

Champagne Louis Roederer

Since the founding of the house in 1776 in Reims, the Louis Roederer winery has been in the possession of the same family. It is now one of the most important independent family businesses in Champagne. Frederic Rouzaud, a direct descendant of Louis Roederer, is the current Directeur Général.

His goal is to invent the champagne of tomorrow so that Louis Roederer will still be a reference in 20 years. The terroir extends over a total area of 240 hectares exclusively in Grand Cru and Premier Cru sites along the Marne river. Since 2001, a gradual conversion of the majority to biodynamic cultivation has been taking place, which is expected to be completed in 2020.
