Roederer Cristal Rosé Brut

Cristal Rosé 2013 by Louis Roederer: one of the most iconic prestige Champagnes in the world, here in its rarest variant. The delicate pink in the glass comes from the assemblage with red wine from the estate's own Joly Pinot Noir plot. Fine red fruit – raspberry, blood plum – meets salty minerality and a taut acidity structure that characterizes the 2013 vintage.

With 7 g/l dosage, this Rosé is significantly below the Champagne average. The result: lively tension instead of sweetness, long dry finish. Ideally served at 9–10 °C.

For an aperitif, with lobster in butter sauce, wild salmon, or strawberry tart with little sugar.

Champagne Louis Roederer

Since its founding in Reims in 1776, the Louis Roederer estate has remained in the same family. Today, it is one of the most important independent family-owned wineries in Champagne. Frederic Rouzard, a direct descendant of Louis Roederer, is the current Director General. His goal is to create the Champagne of tomorrow, ensuring that Louis Roederer will still be a benchmark in 20 years' time. The vineyards cover a total area of 240 hectares, exclusively in Grand Cru and Premier Cru sites along the Marne River. Since 2001, the majority of the estate has been undergoing a gradual conversion to biodynamic farming, which is scheduled for completion in 2020.
