Reichsrat von Buhl Deidesheimer Hergottsacker Riesling

Reichsrat von Buhl Deidesheimer Hergottsacker Riesling
Riesling from one of the most famous Erste Lage vineyards in the Palatinate – the Hergottsacker in Deidesheim – delivers a straightforward, characterful wine with real aging potential.
Reichsrat von Buhl is one of the oldest estates in the Palatinate and has been cultivating top vineyard sites in Deidesheim, Forst, and Ruppertsberg for over 170 years. The Hergottsacker vineyard is classified as a VDP Erste Lage (Premier Cru ) – an award that stands for clearly defined origin and proven quality.
The grapes are harvested by hand, and the wine matures for 14 months in oak barrels . This is evident: aromas of citrus peel and white peach fill the nose, accompanied by a subtle toasty note that supports the fruit without overpowering it. On the palate, the wine displays the typical Palatinate Riesling structure – well-defined, with a fresh acidity and a mineral, lingering finish.
