Reichsrat von Buhl Riesling Brut

The cellar masters at the Reichsrat von Buhl winery give the sparkling wine the time it needs to absorb the aromas of the grapes. The structure of the carbonation, the harmonious development during bottle fermentation, and the subsequent aging period all attest to their approach. The Riesling Brut sparkling wine is characterized by fruity elegance, refinement, and a smooth, luscious mousse. The mousse is fine and persistent. The Riesling aromas of citrus fruits, green apple, and apricot are immediately recognizable. The finish displays a delicate interplay of acidity.

Reichsrat von Buhl

The Reichsrat von Buhl winery has been among Germany's most prestigious wineries for over 150 years and, like its equally traditional neighbors Dr. Deinhard and Bassermann-Jordan, is now owned by the Neustadt-based entrepreneur Achim Niederberger. The current Gault Millau guide praises the consistently excellent wines from the Reichsrat von Buhl winery in recent vintages, ever since a young team, including the experienced estate manager Stefan Weber, took over management as tenants, and feels transported back to the "glorious old days" of the von Buhl winery. Significant investments in the winery in recent years have contributed greatly to this success.
