Langhe Arneis DOC
The Langhe Arneis from Prunotto shows what the autochthonous grape variety of Piedmont can do: aromatic freshness with a clear, mineral-driven structure.
Prunotto is one of Piedmont's most traditional wineries, rooted in the Langhe and Barolo regions for generations. The Arneis grape – once nearly extinct – receives a careful interpretation here: vinified fresh to preserve its characteristic fruitiness.
In the glass, it's pale yellow with green highlights. The nose reveals white blossoms, ripe pear, and a hint of almond. On the palate, it's slightly full-bodied with restrained acidity, a soft texture, and a pleasantly short, floral finish.
Serving suggestion: Serve chilled at 10–12 °C. Pairs well with Ligurian pesto, grilled sea bass, or mild goat cheese. An uncomplicated white wine for summer on the patio or as an aperitif.
