Philipp Kuhn Laumersheimer Pinot Noir Reserve dry

The grapes for Philipp Kuhn's Pinot Noir Laumersheimer Reserve dry wine thrive in the Grand Cru vineyards "Steinbuckel" and "Kirschgarten," where the loess loam soil rests on limestone bedrock. The wine is aged in barriques for 20 months. The result is a Pinot Noir with fruity notes of cassis, wild berries, and black fruit. There are also hints of truffle, chocolate, and a pleasant herbal spiciness. The finish displays sweet notes, yet retains a crispness. Excellent aging potential!
