Pfaffmann Red Vineyard dry

Pfaffmann Red Vineyard dry
Powerful, juicy, with substance: The Red Vineyard from Karl Pfaffmann in the Palatinate shows what red wine production in the southern Palatinate can do – dark fruit, structure and aftertaste.
The Pfaffmann winery is located in Venningen, in the heart of the Southern Palatinate, a region with a warm climate, loamy soils, and a long tradition of red wine production. The family has been cultivating wine for generations and is known for robust, fruit-forward red wines with character.
A deep ruby red shines in the glass. The nose offers blackberry and ripe plum, underpinned by leather and herbs, along with a hint of vanilla from the oak aging. On the palate, it is juicy and dense: plenty of ripe dark fruit, noticeable but integrated tannins that give the wine structure without making it harsh. The finish is long and remains pleasantly fruit-forward.
Best served between 16 and 18 °C . Pairs well with braised lamb shoulder, beef brisket with root vegetables, or a strong hard cheese like Manchego.
