Penfolds Koonunga Hill Shiraz Cabernet Space Edition

The Koonunga Hill Shiraz Cabernet from Penfolds is the entry point into the Penfolds universe—uncomplicated, fruit-forward, and immediately approachable. The Space Edition features a special label but remains true to the proven Koonunga Hill style in terms of winemaking.

Penfolds has been rooted in South Australia since 1844 and is one of the country's most renowned wineries. From the outset, Koonunga Hill was conceived as an everyday wine—reliable, true to variety, and blended to the same style every vintage. The Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon blend comes from South Australian wine regions, including the Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale.

In the glass, it displays a deep purple color. The nose offers aromas of ripe blackberry, plum jam, and Mediterranean herbs, along with a subtle hint of leather and dark chocolate. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with soft tannins, restrained acidity, and a short, fruity finish with a caramel note.
