Koonunga Hill Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon

The nose is delighted by a delicate aroma of eucalyptus and chocolate, while the palate is defined by flavors of ripe plums, black cherries, and soft tannins – simply delicious! After fermentation, the wine matures for several months in oak barrels. Koonunga Hill wines offer the finest Penfolds quality: full-bodied, with distinct varietal character and judicious use of oak for a truly exceptional drinking experience. In addition to the red Shiraz, Shiraz Cabernet, and Cabernet Merlot, the Koonunga Hill wine range also includes the white Koonunga Hill Chardonnay and Semillon Chardonnay. To guarantee the wine's characteristic fruitiness remains fresh and secure in the bottle, all Koonunga Hill wines are capped with screw caps.
