Paul Mas Cabernet de Cabernet Vin de Pays d'Oc

Two Cabernet grape varieties, a clear profile: The Paul Mas Cabernet de Cabernet from the Languedoc is an uncomplicated red wine with real substance — full-bodied, dark, and with pleasantly soft tannins.

Paul Mas is one of the best-known estates in the Languedoc-Roussillon. Jean-Claude Mas has developed the family winery into one of the most reliable producers in the south of France — with a clear focus on varietal, accessible wines from the Vin de Pays d'Oc.

In the glass, it shows a deep dark violet with garnet red reflections. On the nose, cassis and black cherry, plus notes of blackberry and a light hint of bell pepper — typical for Cabernet Sauvignon from the warm south of France. Full-bodied on the palate, with soft, well-integrated tannins and a fruit-forward finish with decent length.

Domaines Paul Mas represents the new face of the Languedoc: Jean-Claude Mas founded the company, named after his father, in 2000, building on the legacy of a winemaking family whose history dates back to 1892. Today, he cultivates over 850 hectares of vineyards across 17 locations in the South of France – from the accessible Pays d'Oc to the renowned Crus Pézenas and Terrasses du Larzac. His motto is "Luxe Rural": wines with genuine terroir character that evoke powerful emotions at no extra cost. With 100% HVE-certified vineyards and 80% organically farmed land, sustainability is not just a marketing promise, but a lived reality.
