Paul Mas Vignes de Nicole Cabernet Sauvignon Syrah
The 15-year-old vines for the Paul Mas Vignes de Nicole Cabernet Sauvignon - Syrah grow on clay and limestone-fossil soil. It is a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Syrah. 50% of the wine is aged for 8 months in new oak barrels. The wine is a deep purple-red with a shimmering sheen. The nose is complex and intense, offering aromas of black berries, violets, and leather, followed by notes of wood, green pepper, and hints of toast and spice. It is well-balanced with excellent structure and soft tannins. The finish is long with a touch of licorice.

Domaines Paul Mas represents the new face of the Languedoc: Jean-Claude Mas founded the company, named after his father, in 2000, building on the legacy of a winemaking family whose history dates back to 1892. Today, he cultivates over 850 hectares of vineyards across 17 locations in the South of France – from the accessible Pays d'Oc to the renowned Crus Pézenas and Terrasses du Larzac. His motto is "Luxe Rural": wines with genuine terroir character that evoke powerful emotions at no extra cost. With 100% HVE-certified vineyards and 80% organically farmed land, sustainability is not just a marketing promise, but a lived reality.
