Paul Mas Syrah Rosé

Paul Mas Syrah Rosé
A rosé wine from the Languedoc that shows what Syrah can do in southern France: not a pale summer swill, but a strong, characterful rosé with real bite.
Paul Mas cultivates several hundred hectares of vineyards around Pézenas – in the heart of the Languedoc. The estate stands for artisanal winemaking on a large scale and is considered one of the most reliable producers in the region.
In the glass, the wine shines a deep salmon pink. The nose is dominated by sour cherry and red currant, accompanied by a hint of violet and a subtle touch of toffee. On the palate, it is round and full-bodied – unusually substantial for a rosé – with vibrant fruit and a pleasantly long finish.
Serving suggestion: Serve well chilled, 10–12 °C. Pairs well with grilled lamb chops, grilled merguez sausages, Provençal ratatouille, or a strong goat cheese. Also a good choice on its own as an aperitif on the patio.

Domaines Paul Mas represents the new face of the Languedoc: Jean-Claude Mas founded the company, named after his father, in 2000, building on the legacy of a winemaking family whose history dates back to 1892. Today, he cultivates over 850 hectares of vineyards across 17 locations in the South of France – from the accessible Pays d'Oc to the renowned Crus Pézenas and Terrasses du Larzac. His motto is "Luxe Rural": wines with genuine terroir character that evoke powerful emotions at no extra cost. With 100% HVE-certified vineyards and 80% organically farmed land, sustainability is not just a marketing promise, but a lived reality.
