Masi Frescaripa Bardolino Classico

Masi Frescaripa Bardolino Classico
Frescaripa is a Bardolino Classico as it should be: light, cherry-fruited, with a herbal spicy vein — a wine that does not rely on heaviness, but on liveliness.
Masi is one of the most renowned wineries in the Veneto region and produces Frescaripa from the heart of the Bardolino Classico area on the southeastern shore of Lake Garda. The grapes—traditionally Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara—are harvested in September, gently pressed, and after fermentation, aged for six months in Slavonian wooden barrels before the wine rests for a further month in the bottle.
In the glass, it shines a brilliant cherry red. The nose offers fresh cherry, a hint of dried herbs, and subtle oak. On the palate, it is light-bodied, with soft acidity and low tannins—not a heavyweight, but a versatile red wine with a clear structure and a pleasant finish.
