Lafoa Sauvignon Blanc

Lafoa Sauvignon Blanc
The Lafoa Sauvignon Blanc from the Schreckbichl winery is one of South Tyrol's most famous white wines. Schreckbichl, one of the region's most renowned cooperatives, vinifies this single-vineyard wine from the eponymous Lafoa vineyard near Girlan.
In the glass, it displays the typical profile of a cool Sauvignon Blanc: passion fruit and grapefruit mingle with spicy herbal notes, nettle, and a mineral, lingering finish. The high altitude and alpine climate contribute lively acidity and freshness. Drinking window: 2024–2028. Serving temperature: 10–12 °C.
It goes well with goat cheese, asparagus with hollandaise sauce, light pasta dishes with lemon and herbs, or grilled fish.
