Chardonnay Altkirch

Chardonnay Altkirch
A Chardonnay from the South Tyrolean winegrowing region of the Schreckbichl winery – an association of around 200 member families known for precise winemaking and a clear expression of origin. The Altkirch is produced on volcanic soils near Girlan, where the altitude ensures slow ripening and pronounced aromatics.
In the glass, it displays classic Chardonnay fruit: ripe yellow apple, white peach, and a hint of vanilla. The acidity is well-integrated, and the finish is fresh and pleasantly long. A good accompaniment to seafood risotto , grilled veal, or more robust fish dishes such as pike-perch with butter sauce. Serving temperature: 10–12 °C.
